artist statement

FINAL PORTFOLIO

My portfolio’s theme revolves around the dichotomy of nature vs technology/artificiality. I want to break away from this notion that these two things are separate from each other and, in my works, I want to show that they are actually related and also to depict in which way one affects the other and vice versa. I want to further the audience’s reflection on this topic by including the phrases. I want the audience to leave the webpage with the images and the phrases in mind and make use of them in order to question their own attitude towards nature and their humanity.
